The Event:

Bands, food, drink, kid's games, and BBQ fun all make this a don't miss event in Orlando!  

The fun kicks off at 11am!  BBQ teams will have been cooking all night long, and event goers are encourages to tour the competition area and chat with the teams.  The Brew Band will be playing live music all day long - the perfect soundtrack to a fun Downtown Orlando BBQ event.  Kid's games and activities happen all day long - and don't forget about our multiple playgrounds on site!  Some of the best BBQ teams will be vending their award winning BBQ all day along with all your festival favorites (and kid friendly foods too).  And don't miss the beer tent - those sales help to make the event possible (drink responsibly)!

You Be the Judge!

In addition to the 3 main BBQ cook-off categories - pork, chicken, and ribs - which are judged by a panel of professional and "trained" celebrity judges - teams must cook a huge supply of pulled pork FOR YOU!!  The People's Choice Taste Test allows event-goers to become BBQ judges and sample pulled pork from all of the teams!  (We don't have a final team count for this year, but last years 24 team samples sure did fill up everyone who participated!)  To be a Taste Test "judge" costs $12 per person and includes all your sampled of the teams, beans, slaw, and one vote in the People's Choice category.  The taste testing begins at noon and lasts until the meat runs out (typically serving over 200 people).  So come hungry and come early - you don't want to miss this part of the event!!
